Overview:

The Commercial Bank was undergoing tremendous growth. In seven years’ time, it doubled its asset size and more recently added two new locations. For the community bank to compete with larger regional and national banks, it needed to offer comparable products and services, including mobile banking services. The Commercial Bank partnered with IBT Apps in 2009 to implement a competitive suite of products that would deliver an optimal customer experience.

Approach:

With Online Banking, customers can:
  • View account balances, activity, and monthly statements online, across accounts including checking and loans 
  • View check and deposit images 
  • Transfer funds between accounts 
  • Make loan payments 
  • Enroll in BillPay 
  • Create alerts to track account balances and activity 
  • Enable mobile banking and text banking
  • Communicate with The Commercial Bank via secure messaging
  • Request stop payments, check re-orders and change of address 
With Bill Pay, customers can:
  • Pay recurring, occasional and one-time bills
  • View payment activity
  • View pending payments to avoid duplication
  • Maintain payment history
  • Receive Bill Pay reminders and e-mail alerts 
With Mobile Banking, customers can:
  • Access a mobile banking app to conduct most of their banking transactions anytime, anywhere 

Results:

In 2017, The Commercial Bank was ranked the 10th best-performing community bank with under $1 billion in assets by S&P Global Market Intelligence.
